Fond memories of many good times over the years with a lovely Brother-in-law. Sleep well John Love Roy and Linda
John was one of those men who had a safe and steady pair of hands. A pleasure to work with - he never seemed to be flustered and was always charming to everyone he met. He will be missed by all that knew him. RIP John.
A superlative Detective, loyal colleague and very good friend who will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace now my friend, I'll be having a 'Bells with Ice' in your memory tomorrow.
70 years of friendship and never a disagreement - despite having been their best man and within months, their lodger😱! We grew older but he never aged. RIP John and thank you for being you.

My Uncle, my motivation for joining the police and being the detective I have become. I hope I have done you proud. Thank you for everything and I am honoured to be carrying your helmet and placing it on your coffin. DC 610 Sibthorp, a true legend x
Thank you for setting up a tribute to John Sibthorp. We hope that it becomes a place of comfort for you to visit.
I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
